Welcome!
To spread the holiday cheer, I wanted to share an awesome micro-learning opportunity - EdTech Cheer! Where for once a day for 12 day, you will receive a notification with new content and the opportunity to engage in reflection for SCECH credit. The information listed here is presented to be a wide overview of content (this is mico-learning after all!) and suggestions for applications in your teaching and/or student learning. The goal is to push you a tiny bit outside your comfort zone through new learning or trying a new thing or two!
Please feel free to explore the resources and share how you have used it in your classroom. The information shared this year is Artificial Intelligence. We encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas around how you might have used AI in your teaching and learning practice as well as how specific topics impact education.
As a firm believer in that meaningful learning will tell a story beyond the physical walls of the learning space, it is the hope that you walk away with your own learning story to tell!

How Do I Participate and Complete EdTech Cheer?
The structure and purpose of this PD is to provide you with flexible learning. So how does this work for you?
Each day, visit the EdTech Cheer website and view the content for the day. You will know which day to access based on the date (December 5 = Day 5).
Read through the ideas and shared resources.
You can join at any time and work ahead (or catch up) if you wish.
Important! Comment on each discussion question listed at the bottom of each page. This will serve as your verification for daily participation for SCECH credit.
SCECH Credit
This course was designed so that anyone could participate. If you are a Michigan educator and would like to receive up to 3 SCECH credits, please make sure you register for the course through the KISD PD Hub using the "Register Today!" button above.
No need for SCECHs? You can still participate by following along each day. You do not need to fill out the daily reflection, but we encourage you to do so to add to the conversation!
