The projects selected demonstrate the knowledge and skills I have been working to build during my journey through the MLIS degree program. Each project is accompanied by an annotation in which I discuss how the project relates to specific learning outcomes of the program (the complete list of learning outcomes is included on the “About My Program” page). I also provide examples of how each project connects to the American Library Association’s “Core Competencies of Librarianship,” as well as the more specific “Core Competencies for Cataloging and Metadata Professional Librarians” authored by the ALA’s Association for Library Collections and Technical Services.
