Music

My name is Kourtney McCollough and I have been teaching at Bette Perot for 10 years. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a BS in Music and a certification in Music Education. Music is my passion and I enjoy bringing joy to students through music everyday. I am excited every year to instill not only the skills in music but to create joy and passion for the Fine Arts. Music not only enriches the mind but creates confidence in students and allows opportunities for collaborative work with peers. I feel it is very important to keep students engaged in music by implementing instruments, singing, movement, and Music Technology through our Quaver curriculum website @ Quavermusic.com.
