In co-cur, there are four possibilities in each grading scale. Your student receives a citizenship grade and a class grade in co-cur each six weeks.
Class Grade- M (Mastery)=100%, S (Satisfactory)=85%, P (Progressing)=75%, N (Needs Improvement)=50%
Citizenship- E (Excellent)=100%, S (Satisfactory)=85%, N (Needs Improvement)=75%, U (Unacceptable)=50%
Please understand that our goal for every student is to receive an M and an E. However, S is a satisfactory grade and simply means a student may not perform at 100% all of the time. An S is not cause for concern. Ways of communicating issues with the Class Grade or Citizenship Grade will be sent to the parent in one of the following ways:
A "Think Sheet" sent home.
A TRM (Triplicate Form) sent home for parents to sign.
A phone call or email.
Discipline Referral to the Office
Note: Due to the different subject matter and activities in each co-cur, specific grading guidelines may vary. Please see the specific co-cur class's page for more information if needed.
