Transferring video from iOS device to Mac computer (wired)
Steps to Transfer
Plug your device into a Mac computer using the connector cable that came with your device.
In the Applications folder start Image Capture.
Under DEVICES choose iPhone (or whichever iOS device is connected).
At the bottom of the Image Capture window, to the right of Import To: choose a folder (e.g. Mark's Videos).
Scroll down the list of your photos and videos to locate your .MOV video.
Click to select the video.
Click the Import button to copy the video from your iPhone to your folder. You can also drag the video to your desktop to copy it there.
Transferring video from iOS device to Mac computer (wirelessly using AirDrop)
Steps to Transfer
Ensure that AirDrop is active on both devices:
On the iOS device:
Launch Control Center by swiping up from the bottom bezel of your iPhone or iPad.
Make sure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are active. (You don't have to be on a Wi-Fi network, you just need WI-Fi on to transfer.)
3D Touch or Long Press on the connectivity settings to reveal extra connectivity controls.
Tap AirDrop
Tap Contacts Only to enable only your contacts to AirDrop you, or Everyone to let everyone AirDrop you. (Note: If you choose Contacts Only, make sure you're logged into iCloud.)
On the Mac computer:
Launch the Finder on your Macs.
Click on AirDrop in the left navigation.
Select Contacts Only to enable only your contacts to AirDrop you, or Everyone to let everyone AirDrop you.
2. Go to the video file you'd like to send with AirDrop.
3. Tap the Share button.
4. Tap the person and device you want to share to.
