Snipping Tool to capture your screen or part of the screen

Snipping Tool captures a screen shot of anything on your desktop, like a picture or a section of webpage. Snip a whole window, a rectangular section of the screen, or draw a freehand outline with your mouse. Then you can annotate, save, or e-mail the image using buttons right in the Snipping Tool window.

To add the snipping tool to the taskbar in your DELL computer:

Select the Start button, type snipping tool in the search box on the taskbar> select Snipping Tool > Pin to taskbar

To capture a snip:

Open the screen you would like to capture.

>Click the snipping tool > New

>Move the cursor to select the snip area

>Click File > Save as > Insert the image in your document.

>Or Right Click> Copy> Paste in your document
