Below you will find a wide range of live online development sessions which you can attend for free as part of your apprenticeship! This is a great opportunity to develop your skills. These 2.5 hour online sessions cover a range of topics including; time management, study skills and exam prep, business writing skills and much more. What sets these sessions apart is their interactive format, which encourages active participation and also allows you to exchange ideas with tutors and fellow apprentices. Analysing reports and data
Wed 2nd July 9.30-12.00
This workshop is ideally suited for early-career professionals who have started to analyse data as part of their role and would like to improve their effectiveness.
Suitable for Apprenticeship Levels 4-7
Overview
Participants will explore different methods to help gather and recognise errors in data, including the impact of Big Data and analytical tools
Through practical activities and discussion, the workshop will consider different techniques to help you analyse data regardless of format and identify the root cause.
The workshop concludes with methods and activities to support the development of commercially sensible recommendations.
By the end of the workshop, participants will understand different ways to analyse data, identify the root cause and create more effective and commercially sensible recommendations.
Developing your confidence, resilience and personal impact

This workshop is ideally suited for those at the start of their career, looking for ways to improve their confidence and resilience in the workplace.
Suitable for Apprenticeship Levels 2-7
Overview
• Participants will consider topics including self-awareness and imposter syndrome, exploring methods to manage these in a healthy way
• Through discussion participants will reflect on social awareness, empathy and the recognition of non-verbal cues, identifying positive Self Management traits
• The workshop concludes with activities and discussion to support the understanding and development of a personal brand and strategies to enhance relationships through appropriate networking
By the end of the workshop, participants will develop an understanding of their personal brand, and take away tips and techniques to improve their levels of confidence, self-management and social awareness.
Team Working Skills

This workshop is ideally suited for those individuals at the start of their careers and are engaging in team-based work environments.
Suitable for Apprenticeship Levels 2-4
Overview
Participants will consider the fundamentals of effective teamwork and discover how these practices can significantly benefit their organisation.
Through the Insights Personality Quiz participants will gain insight into their behavioural preferences and those of their teammates.
The workshop concludes by exploring best practices and adaptive techniques designed to help modify behaviour and improve personal and professional relationships.
By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the tools needed to contribute positively to a team setting, enhancing overall productivity and creating a positive work atmosphere.

Through activities and discussion, participants will develop a challenging mindset and identify when to speak out in situations compromising financial integrity.
The workshop concludes by considering a real-life scenario and through discussion identifying where professional scepticism could be applied
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to identify how to develop a more challenging mindset, develop the confidence to speak out in the workplace and the consequences of not.

Employing the IMAC (Introduction, Message, Action, Close) structure, attendees will engage in hands-on exercises that encompass both the planning and writing aspects of business communication.
The concluding sections are dedicated to the critical review and enhancement of written work.
Through discussions and practical activities, participants will exchange best practices and familiarise themselves with effective techniques and tools to elevate the standard of their business communications.

This workshop is ideally suited for those seeking an introduction to sustainability from both a personal and professional level.
Suitable for Apprenticeship Levels 2-3
Overview
• Participants explore what is meant by the term 'Green', COP 26 agreement and discuss the current risks facing the planet
• The workshop considers the term 'Disruptive Sustainability', encouraging participants to evaluate the impact of convenience vs. sustainability.
• The workshop concludes by examining personal impact. Participants will calculate their personal Carbon Footprint and consider the different ways we can all contribute to sustainable living.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify the key issues which impact sustainability and the longer-term consequences, identifying one or two practical solutions to improve sustainable practice on a personal and professional level.
Understanding Ethics and Integrity

This workshop is ideally suited for individuals who have just started their careers, this introduction to ethics and integrity, brings the topic to life considering the impact on a personal and professional level.
Suitable for Apprenticeship Levels 3-7
Overview
Participants will develop an understanding of the fundamental principles, the threats to ethical decision-making
Through activities and discussion, the workshop explores a range of decision-making frameworks including the Seven Steps to Ethical Decision-making and Tucker’s 5 Question Model.
The concluding section explores the application of ethical principles and frameworks to evaluate and propose appropriate actions in real-life scenarios.
By the end of the workshop, participants will understand the real-world application of ethical decision-making, and will take away some practical tools and tips to support them in the workplace.
