Vantage Financial Partners - High School Athlete of the Month
3.0 GPA
Participate in a HS sport
Submit to be eligible for one $1,500 Scholarship
Each month a student will be chosen as Athlete of the Month
Application is now online and a transcript must be submitted along with a coach's recommendation
You are strongly encouraged to submit your application during your sport’s season
Students who participate in more than one sport may apply for each sport
Due the 1st of EVERY month through May 5, 2024
Be currently enrolled as a high school senior or a student enrolled at an accredited college or university located within the United States
Have a GPA of at least 2.5
Deadline is the end of each month
Prevention Magazine Scholarship
$500.00 SCHOLARSHIP
Write an essay (600-800) words double spaced about a personal encounter you or someone you know has had with abuse.
2.5 GPA or higher
Maintain South Dakota residency for at least one year prior to scholarship application.
Attend an eligible (4-year) institution.
Demonstrate financial need.
MUST complete the FAFSA.
Meet minimum GPA requirements (maintain a 2.0 GPA).
Graduate in five years or less.
Commit in writing to live and work in South Dakota for three years after graduation.
Acknowledge that any failure to meet these requirements will results in the conversion from a scholarship to an interest-bearing loan.
Financial aid office at 4-year colleges will determine who the recipients of this award are, based on financial need and GPA.
