Preference will be given to South Dakota residents intending to be or enrolled at a

Part-time studies will be considered if applicant can show good cause for other
than full-time studies and that the course of study is directed toward a degree,
certificate or similar identification of graduation.
Students who have received an SDSWMA scholarship in the past are eligible to apply each year.
Children and spouses of Scholarship Committee members are not eligible.

For students entering into a STEM college program.
A once-in-a-lifetime, all-expense-paid opportunity that connects science-curious students with peers and mentors while exploring the modern world of STEM research.
Students will spend four weeks exploring leading national and international laboratories and universities in the Black Hills, across the Midwest and in Chicago, Illinois.
Program dates are Sunday June 11 through Sunday July 9
