31 Things Your English Learners Want You to Know by Monique Harrison Henderson. 145 pages.
The Writing Revolution 2.0: A Guide to Advancing Thinking Through Writing in All Subjects and Grades by Judith C. Hochman and Natalie Wexler. 352 pages. Audiobook listening length: 9 hours.
Unearthing Joy: A Guide to Culturally and Historically Responsive Teaching and Learning. By Gholdy Muhammad. 224 pages. Audiobook listening length: 8 hours 24 minutes.
Objective and Method:
Participants will gain new or strengthen existing beneficial perceptions and practices to engage with their multilingual learners (and all students) more effectively.
Participants will read/listen to one of the three offered texts and choose any choice-board activities to complete 15 hours of engagement. All participants will submit a time log. (Note: If a participant takes 15 hours just to read the book, a tangible artifact will still need to be produced and presented.)
Details
Limited Capacity: Seats are limited to 50 participants and fill up fast, so early registration is encouraged.

Credit Option #1:
Grad Credit:
Engage with your book and the choice board activities for at least 15 hours.
If taking the class for graduate credit ($45 through USF), instructions will be available in Google Classroom shortly after the course begins.
Credit Option #2:
Continuing Education Hours Certificate (CECH):
Complete all activities as directed in the Google Classroom to earn 15 CEH Certificate.
NOTE on CREDIT:
Register for up to two titles. Earn one grade credit and/or one CECH Certificate. No, we are not able to award two graduate credits. Thank you!
