The ENL Endorsement Cohort Program supports instructional needs of ML , offering a comprehensive understanding of language development and effective instructional strategies. The hybrid delivery method combines online and classroom learning, making it convenient for educators to enhance their teaching capabilities alongside their professional commitments. The program is aligned with the TESOL Standards for Initial Pre-K–12 Teacher Preparation Programs and focuses on the WIDA 2020 English Language Development (ELD) Standards.
The ENL Endorsement Program offers benefits beyond the learning experience, including reduced tuition for State-Wide Title III Consortium members. The program focuses on practical application, allowing educators to apply what they learn in their classrooms immediately. Coursework can also be used towards a Master of Education with emphasis on English Learning through DWU, furthering academic qualifications while improving practical teaching skills.
