The South Dakota State-Wide Title III Consortium (SDT3) offers professional learning opportunities aimed at enhancing programs and services for English learners across member districts. Choose from a variety of options to fit your needs – or contact us to learn more about building a customized training for your district.
District Facilitated: District leaders or instructional teams facilitate the book study internally using discussion guides, presentation materials, and supporting resources developed by the Consortium.
Consortium Supported: A Consortium representative assists with planning and customization, including meeting agendas, continuing education contact hours (CECH), or options for graduate credit when available.
Consortium Facilitated: A Consortium representative leads all or part of the book study, either on-site or virtually, guiding discussions and supporting implementation of key ideas.
Book Study Options
Book studies are designed to be flexible and responsive to district needs. Districts may select from several recommended titles and determine a structure that works best for their staff, schedule, and professional learning goals. The Consortium provides ready-to-use materials, allowing districts to implement the learning with minimal preparation.
Professional Learning Institutes
Multi-day, immersive learning experiences designed for deeper study of key topics related to English learner
instruction and program development.
Interactive learning, analysis of classroom practices, and structured work time
