The topic of this 1 grad credit (or 15 contact hours for a CEU) course is an overview of the US Department of Education Office of English Language Acquisition resources and how educators can best support English Learners. It is organized into 5 modules, based on the US DOE EL Toolkit, EDTech for English Learners, Family Toolkit, and Newcomer Toolkit and the course includes supplemental information and next steps on co-teaching, dual-identification, instructional strategies, newcomer resources, and digital tools.
