About Ms. Heinrich

I graduated with my Master's in Art History and a minor in Studio Art from Michigan State University and this year marks my 25th year teaching High School Art! I teach Ceramics 1 & 2 and Advanced Ceramics 1-3 at Douglas High School.

I love traveling and with every trip, I have been fortunate to be awarded, I always share information with our students at Douglas.  This is accomplished with cultural based projects in Art classes and presentations to Social Studies classes and the larger community.  

Since 2017 I have been fortunate enough to travel to Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland and Mexico.  I enjoy all types of music. I am still working on country-  I didn't grow up listening to that genre, but I try to learn about many styles and eras of music.  My celebrity crush would definitely be Chris Hemsworth, yes he is easy on the eyes, but he also has a great sense of humor.  Last year, I got married and my last name has changed from Ms. Bonner to Ms. Heinrich-  it's a transition for many, including myself.
