UH System Scholarship
After applying, all students should complete the UH System scholarship application. All students are eligible to apply. The 2024-2025 application is closed, but the 2025-2026 application will be available from October 1, 2024, to March 3, 2025. I'll send a reminder email when it opens.
The website currently states that the application requires a personal statement. However, this requirement may change for the upcoming year. Please wait for the application to open before starting work on it, and I'll send an email with the updated requirements.
After applying, complete your FAFSA as soon as it opens on December 1st. You can start by creating an FSA ID. You and your guardian will both need your own FSA ID. You can complete this now before FAFSA opens. The sooner you complete the FAFSA, the better. You may be eligible for state opportunity grants, which are first-come, first-served. I'll be hosting meetings on how to complete the FAFSA starting in November.
