  • Thinking about playing college sports? Click here

  • How do I convert the time to Hawaii Standard Time? Click here

  • Is Pacific Time the same as Hawaii Standard Time? No. See the question above.

  • Should I take the SAT/ACT?

    • The SAT and ACT are offered by 2 different companies and test different skills/knowledge

    • Many schools are going test optional (meaning test scores aren't required to apply), however more selective schools such as MIT, Harvard, Yale, and others are requiring test scores again

      • Some schools may still require test scores to be submitted to qualify for any merit based scholarship

      • Schools continuously update their policies on their websites. Keep track of the latest updates for the schools you are interested in or are applying to

      • If the school is test optional, it GENERALLY means that they will be looking at things like your GPA, what types of courses did you take and are currently taking, what does your personal statement say, what do your letters of recommendations look like, etc.

  • How do I sign up for the SAT/ACT?

      • It is up to you to visit the CollegeBoard website and the ACT website to keep up to date and register for any exam
