About NHCO:
North Hills Community Outreach is a non-profit organization that aids individuals and families experiencing crisis, hardship and poverty in northern Allegheny County. We focus on assisting families to meet their basic needs, move towards stability, and keep independence. We assist with basic needs by operating three food pantry locations, utility and rental assistance programs, and our sharing projects (winter coats, back to school supplies, toys, cleaning items, etc). We provide transportation assistance, case management, and education assistance programs for households working toward stability and lastly, we have several programs dedicated to helping the older adults within our communities.
