Directions to the HSCMV tax site:

Directions from Penn Hills: Take Beulah Road/Brown Avenue into Turtle Creek. At the Tri-Boro Expressway intersection, stay straight onto Shaw Avenue. At the stop sign, turn left onto Penn Avenue and then immediately turn right into the parking lot at 413 Penn Avenue.

Directions from Pittsburgh: Take 376 East (Parkway East) to the Churchill exit (79B). Turn left onto Beulah Road/Brown Avenue. Take that road into Turtle Creek. At the Tri-Boro Expressway intersection, stay straight onto Shaw Avenue. At the stop sign, turn left onto Penn Avenue and then immediately turn right into the parking lot at 413 Penn Avenue.

Directions from Braddock: Take Braddock Avenue out of Braddock. It will turn into the Tri-Boro Expressway. Once in Turtle Creek, by the Keystone Commons, stay straight to stay on Braddock Avenue (instead of staying on the Tri-Boro Expressway). Follow Braddock Avenue until it turns into Penn Avenue by the Human Services Center. Directly after the bend in the road, turn right into the parking lot at 413 Penn Avenue.

From North Versailles/McKeesport: Take the McKeesport/East Pittsburgh Boulevard to the Tri-Boro Expressway. Turn right onto the Tri-Boro. Once in Turtle Creek, by the Keystone Commons, stay straight to stay on Braddock Avenue (instead of staying on the Tri-Boro Expressway). Follow Braddock Avenue until it turns into Penn Avenue by the Human Services Center. Directly after the bend in the road, turn right into the parking lot at 413 Penn Avenue.

Parking:

There is ample free parking in parking lots surrounding both HSCMV’s 413 Penn Avenue facility and its 519 Penn Avenue facility.

Public Transportation:

There is a bus stop at our site that can be accessed using buses 59, 69, P68, and P69. Heritage Community Transportation also provides pick-ups and drop offs at our facility.

Dress code:

Casual; HSCC volunteer t-shirts will be provided.

Bad weather/emergency plan:

In the severest of weather, our site will close. As our site is open late in the evening, every effort will be made to ensure the safety of volunteers and clients. All other details will be reviewed during volunteer orientation.

About HSCMV:

The Human Services Center Mon Valley improves the quality of life for children, adults, and families in the Mon Valley area. All volunteers will receive an orientation to the HSC, the work we do, and how to make referrals for other resources and programs available at our site.
