Students are starting each class by listening to a podcast on the news of the day. At the end, they're asked to answer 4 questions about what they learned.

Students have been working on finding the main idea and supporting details of informational text. This will support our informative writing essay in October and is a skill they will need to demonstrate on MAP testing, Forward testing, and in high school.
