Mrs. Lydia Curtis, the beloved wife of Coach J.T. Curtis, sang her beautiful soul into Heaven on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Mrs. Lydia was a true Patriot fan who devoted her life to her family and to supporting John Curtis Christian School. She was the backbone to her record-setting husband and did everything in her power to allow him to excel both on the field and in life. Mrs. Lydia worked at John Curtis Christian School as an executive assistant, filling in numerous roles in and around school. She helped raise over 1 million dollars for JCCS through the Big Blue Auction fundraiser, which she started and was the chair of. Mrs. Lydia was blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She routinely sang the National Anthem at JCCS athletic events and also sang at graduation ceremonies and other school events. She was the perfect complement to Coach J.T. in all aspects of life. Her beauty, style, grace, and competitive spirit always showed through. Her warm smile and loving touch or hug were always evident. Her Earthly presence will be missed by many, but we can take comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of our Savior.
