Spring is in the Air
By: Emily McNally
March marked the beginning of spring which meant warmer weather along with baseball, softball, track, and golf seasons entering full swing. During the month of March, JCCS recognized students who demonstrated exemplary scholarship, service, leadership, and character with the National Honor Society induction program. Other activities included the State Science Fair, the Junior High Dance, and the Spring Recital, which recognized the talent of the dance, cheer, band and worship teams. The band hosted "JC's Got Talent" which was a fun night where students showcased their talents in front of a crowd. With the month of April on the horizon, juniors and seniors are looking forward to prom. However, first, students need to buckle down and focus on taking the ACT and PreACT in the beginning of April. Every day counts, so give your best effort to finish off these last two months of the school year successfully!
