It's playoff time and everything counts. The girls have kept an excellent season so far ending in first place with a 5-0 district record. We are still first in New Orleans rankings. Playoffs are a hard time but also fun because of all the adrenaline and effort it takes. We hope the girls bring us home another state championship. Hard work pays off and it's now time to LOCK IN!
INTERVIEWS
1. What do you see yourself accomplishing in five to 10 years?
I see myself with at least 2 degrees and probably working with professional athletes and making money.
2. What's the best piece of advice you've gained from your coaches?
Be confident in yourself because that will take you far.
3. What is one important lesson you've learned from your time as a professional athlete?
Be yourself and trust in God.
1. How do you handle pressure during close games?
During close games, I remember all the hard work that my teammates and I have put in at practice and trust that we will make the right plays to win.
2. What are you willing to give to achieve your goals in the future?
I am willing to give up my free time to lock in on what I have to get done during the season to win the championship.
3. How do you stay motivated during tough games?
To stay motivated throughout a tough game, I focus on the game itself rather than the pressure put on me.
Our last regular home game before its district time! We sadly fell through against the kittens. They did not execute well falling short with the score being 54-47 with the Kittens winning.
