Pushing For Playoffs!
The John Curtis Varsity Boys Basketball Team is making us proud! Their record is 7-1 in our district and 32-9 overall. With an exciting win at the Sweetheart game and senior night over Rummel, things are looking bright as playoffs approach. The pressure is only building from this point on for your Patriots, so be sure to pack the gym and show support any chance you get!

JC Patriots vs Rummel Raiders
The Patriots hosted the sweetheart game on February 7th at 7 pm. Not only was it the patriots’ sweetheart game, but it was also senior night! This made the environment extra special, with the help of the exciting student section, spirited cheerleaders, and loud band. At halftime, they presented the Sweetheart Court, where Kate Curtis was crowned Sweetheart Queen. This was a close, exciting game where, unsurprisingly, the JC Patriots pulled through for the win! The ending score was 62-55.

Congratulations!
The boys played their final regular season game against Holy Cross Tigers on February 14. It was a close, high pressure game with the stands packed on both sides. The quarters were shaky with the score going up and down, but the Patriots pulled through in the end during overtime! The final score was 69-68.

Autrail Manning hit 1500 career points when going for 30 points in the district championship vs the Tigers.

For the first time in school history, the boys and girls basketball teams each won the
9-5A district champion title!
