Introducing the 2024 Sweetheart Queen

Kate Curtis, a senior in the class of 2025, was crowned the 2024 Sweetheart Queen on February 7, 2025 at the Sweetheart Game against Rummel. Kate has gone to Curtis for 14 years, and is an active member of the student body, being a part of Spirit Club, Dance, Cheer, FCA, the journalism staff, and more. Kate hopes to attend Auburn and says that “a great Sweetheart Queen is one who represents her school well and is not afraid to be her true authentic self." Not only did Kate get to wear the crown, but our Patriots managed to gain the upper hand during the second half of the game and made sure Curtis had a Sweetheart Game to remember with a 62-55 win!

Kate has attended JCCS for 16 years. She is a member of the Spirit Club, Key Club, Drama Club, FCA, Interact Club, Student Council, Sisters in Christ, National Honor Society, Captain of the Varsity Cheer team & Varsity Dance Team, and is involved in Riverside Baptist Church’s Youth Group. She plans to attend Auburn University and major in Marketing. Kate attends First Baptist New Orleans Church.

Yasmin Curtis

Yasmin has attended JCCS for 5 years. She is a member of the Varsity Cheer Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Interact Club and the Spirit Club. She plans on attending Xavier University and pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. Yasmin is a member of Church of the King Church.

Madison Gandolfo

Madison has attended JCCS for 7 years. She is a member of the Interact Club, Student Council, Spirit Club, FCA, Sisters in Christ, Varsity Dance Team and the Varsity Cheer team.

Caroline Naccari

Caroline has attended JCCS for 15 years. She is a member of the varsity volleyball team, varsity softball team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Interact Club, Spirit Club, Varsity Cheer Team, Student Council, Sisters in Christ, Drama Club and the National Honors Society. Caroline attends Vintage Church and is involved in Riverside Baptist Church’s youth group.

Lily Lecron

Lily has attended JCCS for 14 years. She is a member of the Varsity Cheer Team, Varsity Volleyball Team, Varsity Softball Team, Student Council, Interact Club, Spirit Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Kinsley Mcinnis

Kinsley has attended JCCS for 3 years. She is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team, Varsity Softball team and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Lily Volz

Lily has attended JCCS for 10 years. She is a member of the Spirit Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is an active member of Church of the King church and is involved in their youth group.

Avery Curtis

Avery has attended JCCS for 11 years. She is a member of the Spirit Club, Interact Club, Varsity Dance Team, Drama Club, Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is an active member of Coliseum Place Baptist Church.
