Sports Festival
Students from the third year of junior high school to the second year of senior high school are in charge of the cheering squad, judges, equipment, etc. The students themselves create the festival. They devise new events and rules, and prepare for fair competition. Through the festival, students realize the bonds they have with their friends and the beauty of working together to achieve their goals, and they grow greatly.
Jr.1 Homeroom Training
at Lake Shirakaba
In the first year of junior high school, we usually hold a homeroom training program with overnight stay as a summer event. Through living together in the rich natural environment of Shinshu, students deepen mutual trust and learn the spirit of cooperation. Experiences such as outdoor cooking, hiking, and campfires foster a sense of gratitude for the blessings of the earth and a spirit of protecting and passing on nature to the next generation.
IROHA Festival
Every year, for two days, club groups, classes, grades, and committees present the results of their daily activities and research in the exhibition, performance, and food/beverage sections. There are so many exhibitions and performances that it is impossible to visit them all in one day. On the day of the event, there will also be an entrance exam consultation corner for students preparing for junior high school entrance exams, and an overseas study and training corner.
Study Tours
The third year junior high school students go to Kyushu, and the second year high school students go to Kansai for a 4-day, 3-night school trip. The students study carefully beforehand, and the fieldwork to learn about society and history is positioned as part of their comprehensive learning. It also serves as a great memory-making event.
