Language Arts: 

• Learning Targets -  SERVE WEEK! Students will work on their Argumentative Essay with guided practice and modeling in class. We will focus on our body paragraphs and conclusion.

Bible: 

Learning Targets:  We will introduce our last unit on the time between the testaments, and how the Hebrew people were able to survive and continue their religion during the Persian conquest and Hellenization.

Science:

Learning Targets: 

This week we will continue taking data on our chicks in class as well as work on our labs started last week. We will focus on paper airplanes this week, trying to identify the best way to make an airplane in order to keep it in the air the longest and have the highest average speed.

Social Studies: We will continue our unit on the High Middle Ages by discussing the 100 Years War, and how its implications led to the weakening of the feudal system and the strengthening of royal power.  We will also discuss medieval universities, and students will create their own medieval universities.

Math: In the upcoming week students will finish their unit on geometric shapes and angles. We will review and take an assessment.
