Bible

Learning Targets:  We will be discussing Friendzy's monthly theme "We are One". As a class (and as families) we can accomplish more together as a community than any of us could alone. God designed us to exist in community together. It is key to flourishing individually and collectively.  Then we will be starting our next unit about some of Jesus' events, teachings, and parables.

Bible memory:  

• • 6B (Geels) due Thursday, Oct. 2 - New Testament books of the Bible

Math

Learning Targets:  We will be discussing how to multiply and divide decimals and then reviewing.

Homework:  due the next day 

• • Mon.:   2.5 EP #1-3, 15-20 (for 15-20 write work and circle answer on scr. paper)

  • Tues.:   Review sheet pg. 1, not #3, 4, 7, and 11; write your work

Language Arts

Learning Targets: This week, we will discuss how Via's perspective influences our perception of August. We will also work on a writing assignment this week. 

Science

Learning Targets:  We will continue our unit called Populations and Ecosystems. We will continue to work on understanding the "10% rule" for ecosystems. The students will continue to see how energy is transferred and lost in the ecosystem. 

Social Studies

Learning Targets:  We will be discussing the geographical layout of the United States and Canada.
