What we're learning & doing in class: This week we will be continuing in our new unit of Esther. We will finish learning about when Esther became queen and then how God used her in this high position.

Reading/Writing: This week we will continue reading the book Dash by Kirby Larson, a historical fiction book set in 1942. For most of the lessons, students will write 2 Super Sentences and complete a written response in paragraph form.

Band: As we continue into page 9 of the TOE book this week, we will continue to work on our note reading and rhythm skills. Since the eagle walk is this Friday, classes will be significantly shorter. Because of this, we will have full band on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Students will not need their instruments on Friday!
