MagellanTV Women in STEM Scholarship
Women make up less than one-third of the science and engineering workforce, and often don’t get the necessary support for pursuing such a career.
MagellanTV wants to support women in pursuit of education in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields, so we’re offering $1,000 each to five female-identifying college or university students seeking a higher education in STEM.
Requirements
Be 18 years of age
Identify as female
A U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States
Accepted to or enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale)
Pursuing a STEM degree
Submissions will be judged based on thoughtfulness, clarity, creativity, grammar, and how well the questions are answered. Submissions will not be judged based solely on need.

Learner Education Women in Mathmatics
This scholarship exists as part of our initiative to provide more opportunities for women in STEM. To contribute to a better future for women in math, the Learner Women in Mathematics Scholarship will be awarded to one woman who is pursuing a career in a math-related field and is extremely ambitious about the feats she will accomplish in her career. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a current high school senior who plans to study mathematics or related fields or an undergraduate currently studying in these fields. To apply, please write about what draws you to math and how certain principles in math have shaped your understanding of the world around you.

Cameron Impact Scholarship
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, merit-based undergraduate scholarship awarded annually to 10-15 exceptional high school students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service. The Cameron Impact Scholar is unique among their high-achieving peers in their desire to make an impact on their communities and in the world at large. Our Scholar aspires to contribute to positive forces for change and plans to tailor their education to that end. The Cameron Impact Scholarship covers the full tuition, fees, and books at any accredited U.S. based college or university that the recipient chooses to attend.

The Gates Scholarship
Due Date: September 15th
Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance* that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the methodology used by a Scholar’s college or university.
A high school senior
From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
Pell-eligible
A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
