FOSSI is a national industry-wide program which provides scholarships to students pursuing STEM degrees at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and connects these students to internships, leadership development, and mentoring opportunities at participating companies.

Kentucky PTA awards several scholarships each year to:
High school seniors who plan to attend a Kentucky accredited college or university and pursue a degree in education.
A parent PTA member who is continuing his or her studies in education or in a health field and will attend an accredited Kentucky college or university.
Teacher PTA members who are working toward a master’s degree or Rank I. Funding for the yearly scholarships comes from the fees from the Honorary Life Membership, the Student Leadership Recognition, and other donations.
Kentucky PTA Scholarship winners are recognized at Student Recognition in Frankfort.

Climate Change
Energy use, farming/livestock resources, deforestation, extreme weather events, environmental justice, disease evolution, etc.
Gender Equality
Girls’ education, sanitation, access to healthcare & family planning, economic opportunities, women in government, paid & unpaid labor, etc.
Waste
Food waste, sanitation, responsible consumption & production, e-waste, health implications, environmental justice, etc.
Applicant must be a high school student who creates a short video about human population growth. It must highlight one of the above global challenges.
Video must include how population growth impacts the issue and at least one idea for a sustainable solution.

Applicants of the DEWALT Trades Scholarship award must:
Be high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduate students.
Plan to enroll or are enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
Majoring in a trade construction, industrial, motor/power sector, mechanics, or technology degree/certificate, which includes but are not limited to the following fields:

Only the first 1000 applications submitted will be considered for scholarship evaluation.
To apply for the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program , the applicant must;
Be a United States Citizen and in addition have a permanent residence in the States or Puerto Rico.
Be a high school senior, high school graduate or a university undergraduate. High school juniors are in no way allowed to apply.
Have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0(for current university undergraduates only. The GPA specified above only serve as a benchmark for the application. Having a higher one gives a better chance of securing the scholarship.
Be ready to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Design related courses or programmes
Plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate programme in any college or university located in the United States or Puerto Rico. Online and Proprietary institutions are not accepted at all.
Be ready to pursue a career in the automotive or related industries after the completion of the program.

Eligibility
The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or two to five-year post-secondary institution for the upcoming 2023 school year.
Application Requirements
The candidate must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: Tell us about a time you received a second chance – how did you respond to this opportunity, and what valuable lesson did you learn?
The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their experience, both professional and academic.
The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students must also submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
The recipient of the Back and Better Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship deadline.

Pursue an engineering or related science degree through an ABET accredited program with an interest in with an interest in mobility and advanced or emerging technologies such as (but not limited to) Automated and Unmanned, Connectivity, Cybersecurity, Shared or Micro Mobility and/or Electrification, Quantum Computing or Blockchain.
Provide two (2) Letters of Recommendation - one (1) that focuses on academics and one (1) that speaks to your involvement in extra-curricular activities or employment
Participation in a STEM-related extra-curricular activity /club or employment/shadowing that relates to your intended engineering major
