Meagher Law Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
The student must be a Kentucky resident.
The student must be a high school senior graduating in 2023.
The student must be in good academic standing at school.
The student must plan to pursue a post-secondary degree after high school graduation.
The student must submit proof of age via a copy of their driver’s license or birth certificate.
The student must submit a self-portrait photo.
Submit a biography in PDF format to Meagher Injury Lawyers, PLLC telling us about yourself. The biography should be no more than 300 words in length. This document should include your name and contact information, including email address and phone number, and include a statement regarding the college you plan to attend in the Fall of 2023. If a final college decision has not yet been made, please note the colleges you are still considering.
Submit a video no more than 90 seconds in length discussing how someone in your life has had a positive influence on you and how you plan to pass on what you have learned from your influencer to others.
Award: One Student will be awarded $1,000; nonrenewable to be paid directly to college or university admissions office.

Offering a scholarship to high school seniors who have a passion for flying and want to pursue a career in aviation. The Aero Club was founded by a World War 1 pilot who wanted a place to continue his passion for aviation after the war.

The Louisville Elks Lodge # 8 Scholarship Trust Fund announces 2023 Scholarships
In partnership with the Louisville Elks Lodge # 8 Auxiliary, the Louisville Elks Lodge # 8 Scholarship Trust announces the following scholarships:
· S.T.E.M. – The Trust will award one $ 1,000 scholarship to a student who plans to pursue a career in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) discipline.
Liberal Arts - The Trust will award one $ 1,000 scholarship to a student who plans to pursue a career in Liberal Arts.
Vocational - The Trust will award one $ 1,000 scholarship to a student who plans to pursue a vocational career.
Veterans- The Trust will award one $ 1,000 scholarship to a student who is the child or grandchild of a U.S. Military Veterans (any field of study).
Auxiliary Scholarships:
Auxiliary S.T.E.M.- The Auxiliary will award one $ 500 scholarship to a female student who plans to pursue a career in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) discipline.
Jackie Polsgrove – The Auxiliary will award one $ 500 scholarship to a female student in any field of study.
New this year-
Fran Akin – The Auxiliary will award one $ 1,000 scholarship to a female student in a non-vocational field of study.

Criteria:
Must be a resident of Metro Louisville, KY or Oldham County
Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above
Must enroll or continue to be enrolled in a 4 year accredited institution by December 2023
Application deadline is May 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
Applicants must submit the following:
Completed Louisville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated
Scholarship ApplicationMust have a Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above
One-page autobiographical sketch indicating “Why you deserve this Scholarship”.
A 1-2 minute video stating your name, high school, desired college, major/minor,
career goals, and how this scholarship can benefit you. (acceptable video formats
mp4.,mov.,wmv.)One letter of recommendation from someone that is not a family member (.pdf format)
One letter of recommendation from school official (i.e principal, counselor/college
advisor, teacher or varsity coach) (.pdf format)Photo (head shot only) (.jpeg or .png formats)
