AVACARE MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria for Application
Applicants for the AvaCare Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Citizen of the United States or in possession of an Alien Registration Card
- High school senior or enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university
- Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, etc.
Although all students with the above criteria are welcome to apply for this scholarship, preference will be given to students with a physical disability.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must:
Be a high school senior accepted for enrollment in 2023 who plans to pursue a course of study leading toward a career in teaching physics in high school.

Equitable Excellence Scholarship
Current high school senior that resides in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year. Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5
100 - $5,000 renewable 4 year awards ($20,000 total for each recipient)

Be part of a group of three to ten students in grade 6-12.
Build a model rocket that carries one large hen egg to an altitude of 850 feet, stays airborne for between 42 and 45 seconds, and returns the rocket to the ground safely.

The Alpha Lambda Education Foundation offers scholarships to African American males who plan to attend an accredited University/College. Applications are reviewed by the Fraternity’s scholarship committee to recommend scholarship winners for the upcoming academic year.
Eligible applicant(s) will be:
A male high school senior of African American descent planning to attend an accredited University/College for the 2022 – 2023 Academic Year.
Eligibility also requires a minimal grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Residence in the Metro Louisville area.

KASBO awards $2,500 scholarships to three Kentucky high school graduating seniors who will major in business or education.
All applicants must obtain two (2) letters of recommendation. One recommendation must be school-related and one recommendation must be either community-related or church-related. Letters of recommendation must be submitted through the link above.
