Ag Power

Courses:

Scholars who choose the Ag Power Pathway have class in a variety of places, sometimes in the classroom/lab hybrid, sometimes in the Seneca Ag Power Shop. Like all the pathways, their experience is hands-on with a wide range of tools and equipment.

While in Ag Power classes, scholars will develop skills used in creating and building projects and systems within the industry. As a newly added pathway we are renovating and creating interactive learning spaces where scholars can actively complete labs and projects in a shop environment.

Scholars will work on school projects for structures and landscaping, complete group projects for sale to the community and host spring lawn mower oil change and tune-up services. Larger agriculture equipment, including tractors, will be brought to the school to use in learning labs. Scholars will have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning through community projects and other outreach programs. Through these programs scholars will educate both children and adults.
