The Systems Improvement and Planning (SIP) team will guide school teams throughout the CSIP process to support data-informed decisions for school improvement. All templates and support materials are found on this Google Site (https://sites.google.com/jefferson.kyschools.us/jcps-csip). Please bookmark this site for easy reference.
We will update this page as KDE Releases information. Currently, only Phase I and Phase III are available.
This overview page lists basic information, due dates, and support session availability. Please see the individual pages linked below for detailed information about Phases I - IV.
When developed through a collaborative process involving multiple stakeholders and implemented with fidelity, the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) cultivates an environment that promotes student growth and achievement. Through this intentional process, schools identify priority needs, strategically allocate resources and monitor results to meet the needs of all students, and close achievement gaps among identified subgroups.

Modifications have been made to the phases noted below to improve alignment and create efficient processes. Diagnostics in the Continuous Improvement Platform (CIP) have been identified by the following phases:
Resources and training for Comprehensive School Improvement Planning (CSIP) include step-by-step directions, templates, exemplars, and links to resources. Teams can find guidance and directions for each Phase as well as JCPS-customized templates that meet KDE requirements to JCPS’ Six Essential Systems. Our templates are not extra work - they match the KDE requirements, use the Six Systems instead of the Strategic Key Core Work Processes (KCWPs), and will save you time.
You do not have to submit anything in eProve if you submit work to us. We will upload the information in eProve for you. Please look under each Phase page for detailed instructions, templates, and support.
Scheduled 1:1 appointments for questions/support with SIP Team members. Please email us to make an appointment for a 1:1 virtual support meeting available on Fridays.
