It is okay to feel overwhelmed and uncertain right now, and I encourage you to activite the various strengths you have (Family, Positive Friends, Mentors, Healthy Activities, Generosity, Spirituality, Medical access and Mental health support). If you need support, please reach out :). We will get through this together, and remember gratitude and generosity are the best ways for us to be interacting, as well as strong interventions for fear and anxiety.

How to take care of YOUR mental health in the face of uncertainty:
Summary:
Separate what is in your control from what is not.
Do what helps you feel a sense of safety
Get outside in nature–even if you are avoiding crowds.
Challenge yourself to stay in the present.
Stay connected and reach out if you need more support.
AND--how to talk to kids (good tips for everyone, really)
SUMMARY:
Remain calm and reassuring
Make yourself available.
Avoid excessive blaming.
Monitor television viewing and social media exposure
Maintain a normal routine to the extent possible
Be honest and accurate. Keep explanations agree appropriate.
Know the symptoms of COVID-19
Review and model basic hygiene and healthy lifestyle practices for protection.
Discuss new rules or practices at school
