A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for their fantastic meeting last week! We are so grateful for their dedication in planning several upcoming events that will bring our school community together and spread that good Eagle Spirit throughout South Jackson.
We’re also excited to see everyone dressed to impress for School Picture Day on Tuesday. It’s a great opportunity to capture memories as we continue soaring through the school year.
As always, thank you for being part of this incredible journey.

Exciting things are happening at South Jackson Elementary! Our students are getting the unique opportunity to connect with bestselling children's book authors and illustrators through our BookBreak School Author Talk Series. This series brings incredible talent straight into our library and classrooms, inspiring young readers and sparking creativity! From September 15 through October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to recognize the culture, creativity, and contributions of Hispanic Americans. In recognition of this special month, BookBreak brings some exciting author talks to our classrooms!
