Hello, Eagle Families!
We are so proud of the hard work and focus our students have shown as we continue soaring through the final stretch of the school year! Next week, we’re looking forward to seeing all of our Eagles dressed in their school spirit wear as we gear up for the Georgia Milestones testing, which kicks off on Monday, April 28. Let’s show our school pride and encourage one another to do our best!
We’re also especially excited for a night of fun, connection, and celebration at International Night this Thursday! This is always a highlight of the year as we come together as a community to celebrate the rich diversity that makes South Jackson such a special place. There will be activities for all ages to enjoy, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Let’s keep soaring, Eagles!

Safety is our top priority during arrival and dismissal. Help everyone stay on time and out of harms way by following our trusty eagle timeline and car rider protocols. Staff will be on hand at the front of the school everyday from 7:00-7:35 and 2:35-2:55 to ensure student safety.
Did you know we have our own Little Free Library? Located in the back parking lot near the trail entrance, this tiny library is filled with books waiting to be discovered. Feel free to stop by to take a book or leave a children's book for others to borrow; let's keep SJ Eagles reading!
Discover exciting opportunities at the Nicholson Public Library! From fun events to helpful resources, there’s something for everyone. Stop by and see what’s happening today!

Infinite Campus
All families should set up an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. Click HERE to set up your child's account. This account allows you to receive important school messages through the Parent Square app. If you have trouble with this process, email Mrs. Embry at angie.embry@jcss.us After a parent portal account has been activated, please allow 24 hours for the information to sync with the Parent Square app to be able to message teachers. If you are unable to use Parent Square at any time, please send your child's teacher an email.
