This year we have the LibraryTrac system to assist in keeping track of the students who are in and out of the library during the day. 

We kicked off the 2nd annual Hilltopper Readers' Cup and the first reading challenge.

The librarian attended the AASL Conference in St. Louis and came back with a lot of great ideas.

The remainder of the new moveable floor shelves arrived at the beginning of the month. We rearranged the nonfiction section to make it more cohesive and allow for better flow. Now all floor shelves are new and on wheels so they can be moved during testing. Students took part in The Great Book Harvest Reading Challenge.

Textbooks were returned and the library was closed two days for testing. 

Textbook checkouts and 2 snow days caused the library to be closed for a few days. We began the 'Hibernate with a Good Book' reading challenge.

Four snow days keep the library closed more than usual. We ended the 'Hibernate with a Good Book' reading challenge with new winners.
