The Student Support Center (SSC) was formerly known as the Guidance Office. The Student Support Center is home to the School Counselors, Data Manager, and Student’s Academic Records. We are here to address and support the needs of our students and their families. We maintain open lines of communication between students, faculty, parents/families, and the community. All Student Support Center staff are dedicated to helping students find success in school. If there is anything that we can do to help you take care of problems, accomplish goals, and be successful, please don’t hesitate to let us know!
This google site will mostly be used by School Counselors to communicate grade level specific information to students and parents, as well as support resources. You will find mental health resources, scholarship information, registration announcements, test prep information and more. Students are assigned their School Counselor based on their last names; Stacy Macke is the School Counselor for students with last names A-K, and Paige Jeleniewski is the School Counselor for students with last names L-Z.
Smoky Mountain High School is fortunate to have multiple Mental Health Clinicians and Student Support Specialists available for our students.
