Students have been working on their Career Development Plans (CDPs) during homeroom throughout the year. Any remaining updates will be completed in March and April during scheduled homeroom sessions.
Mar 2nd – Rising 9th Grade Parent Info Night, SMHS Auditorium, 6pm
Mar 10 – Registration Kickoff
9th graders: Completes registration
10th & 12th graders: Reality of Money
11th graders: Taking ACT exam
March 23–27 – Registration Week (Cafeteria, 9:00–10:00 AM)
Mar 23: Half of Junior homerooms completes registration (Homerooms: DuFresne, Sink, Dengler, Rengar, Ruiz/Sink, Morden)
Mar 24: Other half of Junior homerooms completes registration (Homerooms: Pinkerton, Goshorn, Fogarty, McGoldrick, Chambers, Hyatt)
Mar 25: Half of Sophomore homerooms completes registration (Homerooms: Blackwell, Brown, Fox, Wilson, Wilke)
Mar 26: Other half of Sophomore homerooms completes registration (Homerooms: Boone, McElroy, Kettler, Hall-Howell, Raparelli)
Mar 27: Any absent students complete registration this date.
Attention Parents! Once your student has submitted course requests in Infinite Campus—parents can review and approve them in your Parent Portal. Instructions for that can be found here.
NCVPS Online Courses
Students interested in taking an online course through NC Virtual Public Schools (NCVPS) should review the course catalog and then complete the application for approval.
