CoDrone Mini is a programmable mini drone that introduces students to the fundamentals of coding, robotics, and flight.
Using block-based coding through the CoDrone app or a connected computer, students can program flight paths, loops, and light patterns while learning about logic, physics, and problem-solving in an exciting, hands-on way.
*Note: CoDrone Mini is not sutible for outdoor use.

Tips
Charge fully before class – CoDrone Mini has a short battery life (~5 mins), so keep backup batteries ready.
Clear the flight area – Use an open, indoor space free of obstacles, with high ceilings if possible.
Not for outdoor use!
Use block-based coding first – The CoDrone Edu platform offers drag-and-drop coding that’s beginner-friendly.
Set flight boundaries – Use tape or floor markers to create takeoff and landing zones for safety.
Create obstacle or landing challenges – Have students code the drone to fly to a target zone or avoid barriers.
Connect with STEM topics – Explore physics concepts like thrust, gravity, and angles during flight lessons.
