Online Learning Framework Expectations for ELD
- Provide instruction following district guidelines for all courses
Beginning and Intermediate ELD
Recorded Mini-lessons, Video-Conferencing, FlipGrid, and Assigned Activities Based on Existing Unit Plans
Record 10-15 min video lessons. Consider including student response time into the video (e.g, "I say /you say . . . notebook" . . . (pause for student to repeat ). . . "good!" OR schedule 10-15 min live videoconference classes.
Provide a 10-15 minute activity for students to do independently to practice.
