Giammaria Gabbianelli, Ph.D., is a Research Associate at the University of Pavia (Italy). He graduated at the University of Pavia (Italy) with a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (2013), and he obtained a PhD (2016) in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia (Italy). From 2017 to 2019 he collaborated first as researcher at the EUCENTRE foundation and then as Post-Doc researcher at the University of Pavia. From 2019 to 2021 he obtained a Post-Doc fellow at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. His research focuses on modelling, numerical analyses and development of finite element software for structural analyses, seismic vulnerability assessment of steel structures, steel storage pallet racks, reinforced concrete structures, steel storage tanks, decks, airport infrastructures and seismic demand on nonstructural elements.
