It’s time to celebrate the holidays! LLVS Online Learners attended the 2nd Annual Online Learner Gingerbread House Contest. Learners were tasked with creating a gingerbread house that best represented their favorite holiday movie.  1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes were awarded in grade levels K-4 & 5-8.

LLVS Online Learners were able to visit the PA College of Health Sciences Campus for a College overview, a walking tour of the campus including a chance to see their on-campus simulation lab/mock hospital,  and review of program information. LLVS Online Learners went on a thrilling and immersive adventure at the hands-on STEM focused Lancaster Science Factory.  Learners were able to explore and play with all of the interactive exhibits and were able to use an assortment of tools and materials to fulfill a specific design challenge. In the Environmental Sustainability workshop students examined how energy is transformed to generate electricity or explore real-world ways engineering can combat climate change.

LLVS Online Learners were able to visit the Millersville University Campus for an admissions overview and a walking tour of the campus.  Learners were able to see all of the main buildings and get to go into a dorm room to check out the living space.


Snapology Updated .mp4

LLVS Online Learners visited Snapology of Lancaster.  Learners were able to embark on an exhilarating journey of creativity, teamwork, and engineering. In this hands-on field trip experience, participants collaborated in teams to design and construct their own amusement park model. Online Learners were also able to build and code their own robots.

LLVS Online Learners were able to visit the main campus of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology for an admissions overview and a walking tour of the main campus. Learners were then able visit to the Griscom Education Center and learn about Business Administration, Computer Software Engineering Technology, and Water and Environmental Technology lab spaces.


August 2023

The LLVS team invited learners and districts to take a glimpse into the remarkable online learning experience that Lancaster-Lebanon Virtual Solutions has to offer.  This event extended its invitation not only to current online learners and their families but also to our vendor partners and interested school districts and families seeking to explore the enriching possibilities of online education. Students and parents were able to meet with their districts, talk to vendors, and engage in fun activies with our Educational Technology Team.
