12.8.22 LEP Event.mp4The LLVS Learner Engagement Program hosted a Gingerbread House Contest/Holiday Celebration in the IU13 Conference Center. We had a total of 8 entries into the contest, they were all amazing! Our learners did such a great job on their designs. There were many activity stations for our learners and their families to rotate through. Activities such as: Antler Toss, Jingle Bell Guessing Game, Hot Chocolate Station, Coloring, Crafts, Photo Booth, Winter Trivia, and Pin the Nose on the Snowman. Thank you to all of our participants and their families!

Learners were able to work their way through the “Thank A Trucker” Corn Maze, where they practiced map reading and critical thinking skills. Learners also were able to take a ride to the pumpkin patch and have fun with all the games and farm animals

The LLVS Learner Engagement Program kicked off the school year with a Streamable Learning event in the IU13 Conference Center. K-5 students were able to visit live with the Memphis Zoo and learned all about big cats. Students in grades 6-12 visited with the National Law Museum in Washington DC. They learned all about DNA, how to collect and process DNA, and its importance in a criminal investigation.

LLVS EOY Celebration_May2022.mp4The LLVS Learner Engagement Program hosted a End of year party for LLVS students' families and teachers in the IU13 Courtyard. We had ice cream, slushies, volleyball, golf, cornhole, yard yahtzee and spike ball for everyone that attended to enjoy. Many students had an opportunity to connect with others in the online learning community.
