2022 Keynote Speakers

Gerry Brooks

Gerry Brooks will be our keynote speaker for both the Elementary and Secondary Technology Conferences. Gerry has been an educator for 25 years, beginning as a third-grade teacher in Palm Bay, Florida. He earned his master’s degree in administration and has been an elementary principal for 12 years. Originally using humorous videos to encourage his staff, Gerry has become a national encourager for teachers through social media and speaking events. He is a voice for teachers, but his passion is leading others to be responsible for their own personal climate and culture in the workplace. His book, “Go See the Principal,” outlines strategies for taking on this responsibility. Gerry and his wife, Kelly, have three adult children and live in Lexington, KY.

Elizabeth Raff

Elizabeth Raff will kick off the morning of our Elementary Technology Conference. Elizabeth is a passionate and enthusiastic educator who sparks excitement and creativity in her classroom. She propels students in the Penn Manor School District to be lifelong learners by using unique classroom engagement strategies. Most recently, Elizabeth was named the 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year. In her role, she travels the state, meets, and collaborates with other educators, and will represent the commonwealth in next year's National Teacher of the Year competition. She received her Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Penn State University and currently resides in Lancaster, PA with her husband, Jeremy, and their two children.
