Here is the syllabus.
Common Misconceptions in Psychology
This project was only for the students taking the course for honors credit. It was completed with a peer, Maeg Sauers. The goal of this project was to become familiar with common misconceptions in psychology. The project was not meant to be an argumentative piece; we simply researched both sides of the argument and presented that information. Our particular project was regarding individuals with psychological conditions and violence. Included on the left is the final project. Included on the right is my half of the annotated bibliography. Through this project, I learned that correlation does not mean causation. I learned about different types of mental illnesses. Finally, I learned that it is important to read articles defending both sides of an argument.
