Final Portfolio Project

This project did not have many guidelines, so we could go in whatever direction we chose. The goal of the project was the give students the opportunity to dive deeper into something that interests them. I have a brother in middle school, so I chose to design a lesson plan to teach 8th graders about the cell cycle and meiosis. I created a google site to organize the slideshow presentations and review worksheets. 

The challenge in this project was to presenting complex information in a way that a middle schooler would understand. The content is information this is easy for me to understand, but the same does not go for younger students. 

My brother looked over the project for me and confirmed that he understood the information and found the review worksheets helpful.
