ePortfolio Experience:

A brief history

While studying for my Associates in Education, I built an ePortfolio to highlight my lesson plans, classroom projects, and understanding of state curriculum. Showcasing various artifacts via an ePortfolio allowed me to share my rationale and display how it related to state InTASC Standards.

During my bachelors, I used an ePortfolio for a 10-week project-based course in which our group worked with a community client. By researching best practices and standards within the non-profit space, our group generated a list of research-based suggestions and feedback in the form of a recommendation report. This was supplemented by 100+ hours of research, literature reviews, and an annotated bibliography. Our ePortfolio allowed us to share the in-depth recommendation report to our client in an attractive and understandable format.

Elements of this project-based ePortfolio were highlighted in my personal/professional ePortfolio. As a graduate student studying Human-Computer Interaction, this is an ever-evolving space that I am able to showcase new projects as they are completed
