Professional Growth Plan

In early 2020, a group of faculty came together to redesign what used to be called TPAS (Teacher Performance and Appraisal System) into what we know call our PGP (Professional Growth Plan).

Our PGP is based on these commonalities from a selection of plans designed by faculty:

• A clear focus on professional growth.

• Coaching separated from evaluation.

• Emphasis on collegial walk-throughs.

• Allow teachers to identify their own needs and develop their own plan to address those needs.

• Clear common or essential ISY professional practices.

• Trust underpins everything.
